Keep The Music Guild's "Keyboards for Kids" and "Strings for Students" playing in Los Angeles area schools. The Music Guild provides concerts and musical instruments to elementary school children in Los Angeles inner-city.

You may donate any used musical instrument . . . from a flute to a grand piano . . . or make a cash donation. The Music Guild causes the instruments to be repaired, if needed, and then gives them to elementary schools or sells them and uses the proceeds to purchase new instruments and Yamaha electronic keyboards which are then given to the schools listed below to enable children to study.

In addition, the artists who perform at our evening concerts also present Children's Concerts at:

  • Cienega Elementary School
  • 52nd Street Elementary School
  • 10th Street Elementary School
  • Hoover Street Elementary Schools
  • The Village Glen School for Autistic students
  • Los Angeles Juvenile Hall
  • Community Magnet School
  • Summit View School for Learning Challenged students

You may donate any musical instrument, from a flute to a grand piano, or make a cash donation. The Music Guild repairs the instruments if needed, sells them and uses the proceeds to purchase new student-sized instruments and Yamaha electronic keyboards. Instruments are given to all the above listed schools, along with the Los Angeles’ Watts Arts Center.

Your IRS Tax Deductible donation supports these programs and these children. Because research shows that studying music in schools improves children’s study habits, raises their over all educational experiences, improves their academic standings and self-esteem, The Music Guild’s programs provide a real opportunity for students to achieve goals that will provide them with a limitless horizon in their formative years.
